The new version of the SAP hybris Marketing Rapid-Deployment Solution (RDS) (v6.11) has been released on Nov 6, 2015.
New capabilities are
- Underlying product version is now SAP hybris Marketing 1.1 (1508)
- Enhancements to previous scope:
- Inclusion of Marketing Executive Dashboard
- Inclusion of Customer Journey Insight
- New sample SAP Lumira report “Budget and Spend Explorer”
- Inclusion of Manage Recommendations and Sender Profile apps
- Integration with Digital Asset Management for Campaign Management
- hybris Marketing for Retail
- new SAP HANA content referencing SAP CAR data

For the first time hybris Marketing RDS provides Retail industry specific content that enables you to discover new insights into your customers, identifying common attributes, interests, behaviors and priorities based on SAP Customer Activity Repository.
This enables you to combine CAR based information like
- omni-channel transactional data
- preferred sales channel and store,
- more precise return/sales ratio, revenue,
- …
in hybris Marketing Segmentation with common criteria, like
- age, gender, marital status
- address and geolocation
- sales volumes
- social media activities, preferred communication medium,
- and many more,
see figure below.
In a next step you can use these groups for marketing activities, like campaigns or product recommendations, and thus optimize the response and conversion rates.
