Connecting the dots : Free SAP software trials

Interested in learning new cutting edge technology or just checking what is happening in the industry or you are professional in cloud, analytic, Business applications, database technologies and mobile or one who want to try your hands on a niche skill like or fraud management specialist or audit management pundit or cloud for sales for small and mid organization, social engagement , HR in perform and award area, professional in event stream processing, geek in mobile app development. WHO do not want to access to the tools and technologies for hands on or evaluation before you commit yours or your organizations resources for the cause.

Here is a small initiative from SAP. We all know that SAP is known for its technology innovations and solution to business problems. The company has over 293,500 customers in 190 countries existence due to some reason. To my personal view the main reason behind success of the SAP is sheer innovation in the field of information technology related to business problems and you will be agree with me that in last 5 years the pace of new innovations and introduction of new SAP product happen the most. Google had recently shake hands with SAP on the patent sharing MoU, formerly know as 'long-term patent cross licensing agreement', where both organization share intellectual property for common areas of development, especially business analytics and enterprise applications, more details can be found here

But this is not about Google and SAP partnership.

SAP tries to update partners, customers and rest of the SAP user community using various forums like Sapphire, SAP TechEd, magazines like SAP Insider, Ppartner conferences and so on. But due to limited access, shortage of time sometime the right connect was missed due to various reasons like shortage of time, addressing the right target audience, or maybe due to access to new tools, technology or software to the audiences who are responsible to evaluate tools and technologies developed by SAP

SAP have started a new initiative , which was earlier limited to the customer zone only, to provide free trail access of SAP products to partners, associates, developers. For me it is a big leap which will bring both, SAP and rest of the community together and will open a world of new possibilities.
