That’s why service providers need to have industry-specific expertise and be able to customize standard software to specific business requirements. SAP has an extensive network of partners that specialize in particular fields and industries. They provide users with on-site support, helping them to select, plan, implement, and run their sports and entertainment solutions.
SAP trains its partners to ensure that they keep pace with its innovations. This is why 25 partners from German-speaking countries took part in a workshop at the SAP Arena on October 20, 2015. The focus was on the latest developments of the SAP Customer Checkout point-of-sale solution.
Stefan Wagner, General Manager of Sports and Entertainment, and Fadi Naoum, SVP – Products & Innovation, Head of Sports & Entertainment, presented SAP’s partner ecosystem and roadmap for 2016. The manager of the SAP Arena, Jens Reithmann, gave insights into the newly developed fan app for leading German ice hockey team Adler Mannheim, and explained the successful collaboration with SAP.
And in the evening, guests were invited to watch the game between Adler Mannheim and ERC Ingolstadt and experienced the solution in action. A follow-up workshop on SAP Customer Checkout is now being planned for January 2016.
