The following blog is intended to be a guide to the typical steps and processes that are needed to fully utilize SAP BusinessObjects Cloud in an enterprise environment. These capabilities include: connecting and acquiring data from on-premises data sources (like SAP HANA and SAP BW) as well enterprise cloud data sources (like SAP SuccessFactors). In addition. the typical SAP BusinessObjects Cloud administrative tasks, like security and monitoring set-up. are explained. This blog is a "living document" and will be updated as SAP BusinessObjects Cloud evolves and new enterprise-related functionality and blog information is created.

DATA ACQUISITION
Acquiring Data from On-premises Data Sources:
SAP BusinessObjects Cloud allows for data acquisition from your on-premises network, including BI4.x universes, SAP BW, SAP ERP, and SAP BPC MS, and SAP BPC NW. For this, you will need the SAP HANA Cloud Connector and the BusinessObjects Cloud Agent. With this, you can then connect to SAP ERP Central Component (ECC), SAP B/W (Acquisition Mode) and SAP BI Universes.

SAP BusinessObjects Cloud allows for data acquisition from various on-premises solutions, including BI4.x Universes, SAP BW, SAP ERP, and SAP BPC MS, and SAP BPC NW.
