Not a day passes in which I don't "land" in some internet "port of information", especially if related to the world of gaming and gamification.
In particular, few days ago I came across a game on a crowdfunding platform that that raised the antennas of my curiosity.
What's up with this game?
As reported in the game presentation,"it is world's first real-life, massive multiplayer, first person shooter. Experience the adrenaline, tactics and strategies of gaming in your everyday life. Combining real time geo-localized strategy & first person shooter battles, bringing a virtual world into your backyard."
Why I found it so special?
1) uses modern technology in a real environment (the fight takes place live and remote);
2) uses non-specific devices (smartphone, PC, smartwatch, with some added tools);
3) uses augmented reality;
4) (last but not least) has been developed by an Italian, very young, guy Francesco Ferrazzino, in San Francisco.
While not preferring the "killer games all" I was fascinated, something told me that its logic could be used in corporate areas, to facilitate and, why not, also make it more enjoyable certain corporate tasks. So I started my searching and I found something and maybe you would not believed it, what I found is right in SAP!

Integrated business functions, augmented reality, wearable mobile application and gamification: I think it's just the right and winning mix, offered by SAP. Great!
