On Thursday April 21st, I was pleased to serve as Master of Ceremonies for our Digital Transformation Info Day at the University of Notre Dame. We had a terrific lineup of distinguished speakers who provided our audience with a variety of perspectives on Digital Transformation. In addition to faculty and students from Notre Dame, faculty and business leaders from surrounding communities joined us for the event as well. Several SAP University Alliances members sent faculty to the event including Purdue University and Indiana University.
The primary purpose of the day was to bring together academic leaders and business leaders to explore and discuss new ways to collaborate on building talent for the evolving digital economy. Our agenda featured SAP, industry and academic perspectives on digital transformation in the morning. In the afternoon, the speakers focused on different academic models or success stories that served to inspire attendees to create new learning opportunities together. Attendees had the opportunity to network over breakfast and at lunch and we had SAP demonstrations available to illustrate the digital transformation in action. The virtual reality demo of SAP’s Digital Boardroom was particularly popular with our guests. Here is a summary of our agenda.
